In a remote cabin studio north of Kingston, Ontario, Last Universal Common Ancestor (LUCA) set up their instruments with long-time producer Jonas Bonnetta (Evening Hymns) and focused their energy on capturing their most vulnerable collection of songs yet. Venturing into new folk/rock territory, their first full-length release, Your Name is Jim, sets a new path for the duo (Jim Perrott and Matt Campbell) while still channeling their post-rock roots. The record was also engineered and mixed by Jonas and mastered by Gavin Gardiner (The Wooden Sky).
